What is PASALOAD or Share A Load?

As you might know, 'PASALOAD' (pass a load) is the phrase used in the Philippines between people who wish to transfer part of their load balance with friends, family or loved ones.

The term is interchangeably used along with 'Share a Load', depending on who you talk to.

All mobile networks in the Philippines offer the PASALOAD feature, as it was originally created as a way for people to stay connected if they weren't located near a reloading station.

Although nowadays you can buy load online at any time of the day or night, through top-up sites such as Ding, the PASALOAD feature is still an extremely popular way for locals to support loved ones.

Benefits of the PASALOAD feature

How to PASALOAD Smart to Smart/TNT

You can send a Smart PASALOAD to Smart, Talk N Text, SunCellular, and even Smart Bro networks. The PASALOAD feature also works the reverse way, from any of the above networks, sending back to a Smart number. Just follow either of the options below.

Option 1: Pasaload Smart credit

Text PASALOAD <space> SMART OR TNT NUMBER <space> AMOUNT to 808

For example to send P20 text PASALOAD 09198596537 20 to 808.

Option 2: Pasaload Smart promo packages

Text PASALOAD <space> SMART OR TNT NUMBER <space> KEYWORD to 808.

For example to send a GIGA STORIES 99 promo text PASALOAD 09198596537 GST99 to 808.

How to share a load Globe to Globe/TM

Similar to the Smart PASALOAD, Globe previously offered the ability to share load to Globe or Touch Mobile numbers. This also worked if you wanted to Share a Load from TM to Globe as well.

Unfortunately, as of 1st December 2022, Globe ceased offering this functionality. However, if you are looking to buy load for someone in the Philippines you can buy this for Globe through Ding.

Things to remember:

• There is a transaction fee of P1 per PASALOAD transaction, paid for by the sender.

• The validity of the load depends on the operator and the amount sent. You can check Smart validity periods here.

• The PASALOAD feature is only available between phone numbers on the same networks. You cannot PASALOAD from Smart to Globe networks.

• The PASALOAD steps above are only for prepaid networks.

Get load directly with Ding!
