Ding ambassador Mohammad Nabi is taking the cricket world by storm. Nabi has led Afghanistan to victories over Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Netherlands and England in the Cricket World Cup.

One of the Cricket World Cup's Star Players so far

Mohammad Nabi's career in cricket has been extraordinary so far. Effective batting, precise bowling and excellent fielding skills have made Nabi a fan favorite in the cricket world. His versatility and consistency have made him an invaluable asset to Afghanistan throughout the years. This has continued during the 2023 World Cup as he has been Afghanistan's star player in the competitions so far. Nabi's stand out performance came against England where he took 2 wickets and was the most economical bowler for Afghanistan. They went on to beat England by 69 runs in that game.

The Perfect Ding Ambassador

Being on the road for large periods of the year with cricket, Nabi finds himself, like millions of Afghans abroad, in need of a way to stay in touch with home. Whether it's to keep touch with family, friends or life back home in Afghanistan, Mohammad like millions of others around the world, uses Ding. We're proud at Ding to have Mohammad as a Ding ambassador and we're rooting for both Nabi and his teammates in India this year.

Like Mohammad Nabi, many within the Ding community are resilient, determined and inspirational. Similarly, they work incredibly hard to support their families and to help the prosperity of their country. Having Mohammad Nabi as our brand ambassador is a source of immense pride for us. So we will be cheering him on during the current World Cup tournament. Click the button below to see why Mohammad Nabi uses Ding.
