Flying home for Easter: Juliet's story

Juliet flies home: An interview with our Easter competition winner

In March we ran a competition to celebrate Easter, with a top prize of flights home. We spoke to the winner of our competition Juliet, who won flights to see her family in Jamaica.

Could you please describe how you felt when you found out you were the winner?
I was very ecstatic. I was at training at my job and when I got back I saw the email and I began to scream because I have never won anything before. I have tried several online competitions and nothing.

Who was the first person you told?
I called my sister and told her.

Where are you planning to fly to?
Definitely Jamaica

Have you been there before?
Oh yes. Several times.

Who will you be going to visit?
Friends and families.

When was the last time you saw them?
In December of 2011.

Where is home to you?
I mean, I am currently living in the States but home is where the heart is so I would say JAMAICA.

What does this prize mean to you?
It means a lot to me because I have been having the urge to go home and enjoy some sun and good food but just been putting it off. So now I am forced to do so.

What are you most looking forward to about your trip?
I am looking forward to some fun in the sun and to eat some good ole’ Jamaican food.

How did you find out about the competition?
I found out about the competition when I logged on to send some credit to my fiancé.

How do you use Ding to keep in touch?
I usually send credit to family members and friends back home so they can reach out to us here.

Who do you connect with?
My connection is with my fiancé, families, and friends.

How long have you used Ding for?
It has been a few years since I have been using this online service. I have been using it before it was called ding. It was called “ezetop “then ding.

Do you have any other comments for us?
I just want to thank you all for this wonderful gift, for your prompt response for the past two weeks and definitely for such great service.

Thank you to Juliet for taking the time to speak with us. Visit our Facebook page to see the latest Ding competitions
