Ding went live at one of Miami’s largest street festivals last weekend, Mar 12 2017, to celebrate the Cuban diaspora and their presence in Miami.

To mark the occasion, Ding hosted a variety of top Cuban artists and talent who provided unrivalled entertainment throughout the day.

Cuban actress Roxanna Montenegro started proceedings by getting the crowd excited for the day ahead before inviting rap duo Dayran y El Happy to the stage.

Up next was Maritrini who had the crowd in stiches before warmly welcoming songstress Albita to the stage.

Albita got the crowd going with her iconic Cuban flare and performed with an upbeat and enthusiastic live band.

Next up host Bonco invited Osmani Garcia to the stage supported by girlfriend Dayami La Musa.

Osmani performed a number of his well-known numbers including his chart-topping hit ‘El Taxi’ as well as ‘Miami Chilling’ and ‘Baila Toma.’

Rain began to fall for the last two hours of the day but that did not deter the thousands of people who came out in force to see Cuban star Chacal take to the stage.

The crowd going wild, the so-called ‘jackal’ performed a number of toe-tapping, Cuban influenced songs before speaking warmly about how he uses Ding to stay in touch with family in Cuba.

Ding gave out a number of free goodies and prizes on the day including free $5 USD top-ups, Ding hats, fans and t-shirts as well as seven brand new top-of-the-range smartphones.

Lucky winners were also given backstage VIP passes where they could mingle with their favourite Cuban superstars in comfort.

Ding supports hundreds and thousands of people across the US to send invaluable Cubacel mobile recharge and Nauta internet credit to friends and family in Cuba.

We are proud to support the Cuban diaspora community in Miami and to help provide a day for them that they will remember for years to come.
